CP Control Technologies completes PLC Training for MARTA (Dec 07, 2009)PLC programming instructors from CP Control Technologies traveled to Atlanta to give training to 70 technicians from the Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). CPCT was contracted by MARTA to provide comprehensive PLC programming instruction for Control Logix Platform PLCs. The classes took place over the course of two weeks and were given by CPCT employees Jeromy Peterson and Cliff hall. Classes during the first week ran from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM. Classes during the second week ran from 11:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The effort was exhausting but CPCT displayed an inordinate degree of energy and zeal in teaching styles. Once instruction was completed, students were asked to fill out review questionnaires. In these reviews, CPCT received some of the highest marks ever given by MARTA employees to contracted instructors. In their reviews, students described the class as being, “The best hands on training that we have ever done.” CPCT instructors were described as “remarkable”, “highly energetic” and “extremely knowledgeable”. Not only did CPCT instructors perform remarkably giving highly technical instruction for long hours but they might very well have taught the largest group of students ever gathered together to receive PLC programming instruction. |
